1. What this site is

The Quiet Index is an editorial publication produced by Quiet Index Media LLC. It publishes an ordered ranking of Android games together with commentary, a description of its method, and occasional longer pieces in its journal. It is not a store, a distributor or a directory. No software of any kind is hosted, supplied or made available here, and there is nothing on this site to acquire other than the reading of it.

2. Editorial opinion, not advice

Every score, ordering and judgement on this site is the opinion of its editors, reached against the criteria published on the method page. Our score out of ten is an editorial judgement rather than a measurement, and it is deliberately not the same figure as any store star average. Nothing here is a recommendation to spend money, a warranty of quality, or professional advice of any kind. Decisions about what to install and what to pay for remain entirely yours.

3. Accuracy of store data

Ratings, review totals, download figures, prices and genre labels quoted on these pages were read from each game's own listing at the time our desk recorded them, and are reproduced without recalculation. Store figures change continuously and without notice. Prices in particular vary by storefront, currency, promotion and time. The listing is always the authoritative source, and you should check it before relying on any figure shown here.

4. Outbound links

Links from ranking entries lead to the corresponding listing on Google Play and open in a new tab. Once you follow such a link you are governed by the terms and policies of that service, not by these terms. We do not control external services, cannot guarantee their availability or content, and accept no responsibility for them. No link on this site carries a commercial arrangement, referral fee or payment of any kind.

5. Trademarks and intellectual property

Google Play and the Google Play logo are trademarks of Google LLC. Game titles, logos, artwork and screenshots are the property of their respective rights holders and are shown here in the context of editorial commentary and review. Our own text, ranking structure, page design and code are the property of Quiet Index Media LLC. No claim of ownership over third-party material is made or implied, and no affiliation with, endorsement by or sponsorship from any rights holder is claimed.

6. Permitted use

You may read, print and share these pages for personal, non-commercial purposes, and you may quote short passages with attribution and a link back to the page quoted. Wholesale republication of our text, automated scraping, or reproduction of the ranking as though it were your own work is not permitted. Attempting to interfere with the operation or security of the site is likewise not permitted.

7. Rights holder and correction requests

If you hold rights in material shown here and wish to raise an issue, or if you are a developer who believes an entry contains a factual error, write to the desk. Factual corrections are made in the entry concerned, with the date of the change. We do not remove or alter editorial opinion on request, and we do not accept payment in exchange for a change of any kind.

8. Availability and changes to the site

The site is provided as it is, without any guarantee that it will be available without interruption or free of error. We may add, revise, reorder or withdraw content at any time, including changing the position of a game in the ranking or retiring an edition entirely. Nothing published here is promised to remain unchanged.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Quiet Index Media LLC accepts no liability for any loss or damage arising from the use of this site, from reliance on any opinion or figure published here, or from the use of any third-party service reached through a link on these pages. Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, it is limited to the minimum permitted by the applicable law.

These terms may be revised. The current version always appears on this page with the review date at the top, and continued use of the site after a revision means acceptance of the revised terms.
